Students will learn from Derek Mahony and Damian Teo through an in-depth exploration of simplifying chronic pain diagnosis and management, helping clinicians better understand pain mechanisms and practical treatment pathways. The program will also cover bruxism in both children and adults, including aetiology, diagnosis, risk factors, and contemporary management strategies. Participants will develop skills in comprehensive TMJ analysis, with a focus on examination, diagnosis, and interpretation of common temporomandibular disorders. In addition, the course will explore appliance therapy for common TMD presentations, including case selection, appliance design, and evidence-based protocols that can be integrated into everyday clinical practice.
